He received his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from the Third Military Medical University and completed his postgraduate studies at the Fourth Military Medical University under the mentorship of Professor Gao Guodong, a nationally renowned neurosurgeon. He formerly served as Deputy Director of the Department of Neurosurgery at the General Hospital of the Lanzhou Military Region (PLA Neurosurgery Center), where he was responsible for Ward I specializing in cerebrovascular diseases and neurocritical care.

He specializes in interventional and surgical treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including cerebral aneurysms, ischemic cerebrovascular diseases, and arteriovenous malformations. Experienced in the management of severe traumatic brain injury, surgical treatment of brain and spinal cord tumors, and treatment of selected congenital malformations of the brain and spinal cord. In 2005, he established the electrophysiology laboratory in the Department of Neurosurgery at Lanzhou General Hospital and led the development of surgical treatment programs for refractory epilepsy. Since 2020, he has led his team in pioneering neurointerventional services in Tianfu New Area, establishing the region’s first neurointerventional program.
