The Department has established a robust platform for cardiovascular interventional diagnosis and treatment, equipped with a Philips DSA system, advanced ECG monitoring equipment, invasive hemodynamic monitors, invasive blood pressure monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, temporary pacemakers, and other emergency equipment. Scope of diagnosis and treatment includes:

Coronary heart disease: Including angina pectoris, acute coronary syndrome (myocardial infarction, unstable angina), and various types of ischemic cardiomyopathy (arrhythmic and heart failure types).

Hypertension: Including primary and secondary hypertension, treatment of hypertension-related complications, hypertensive crisis, myocardial hypertrophy, coronary atherosclerosis, arrhythmia, and heart failure.

Arrhythmia: Including premature atrial contractions, premature ventricular contractions, atrial tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, ventricular fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, pre-excitation syndrome, and sick sinus syndrome.

Specialized Technical Services:

Coronary intervention, electrophysiological intervention, and interventional treatment for congenital heart disease;

Coronary angiography (CAG), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI);

Ventriculography, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation, intracardiac electrophysiology study (EPS), radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) for tachycardia, radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation, and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation;

Balloon mitral valvuloplasty, transcatheter closure of atrial septal defect, and transcatheter closure of ventricular septal defect;

Transcatheter closure of patent ductus arteriosus, right heart catheterization, and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT, CRT-D) device implantation.
