The Department of Orthopedics at Sichuan Taikang Hospital is divided into two subspecialties, spine and joint, providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for fractures, joint injuries, spinal injuries, lumbar spine injuries, wound repair, and related diseases. The Department is equipped with world-class orthopedic diagnostic and treatment equipment, including Smith & Nephew arthroscopies from USA, Joimax transforaminal endoscopes from Germany, orthopedic surgical robots, ultrasonic osteotomes, and digital orthopedic navigation systems. Joint and trauma: Conservative and surgical treatment for limb fractures and joint injuries; routine treatment for bone exposure, nonunion, and osteomyelitis; primary and revision arthroplasty for the knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow; treatment for foot and ankle diseases and deformities such as hallux valgus and flatfoot; diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and other conditions through minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery.
Spine and trauma: Conservative, minimally invasive, and various surgical treatments for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine diseases. Diagnosis and treatment of common spinal fractures and correction of various spinal deformities.
Wound repair and functional reconstruction: Limb salvage for severe limb injuries; repair and functional reconstruction for various post-burn and post-traumatic deformities and dysfunctions; repair of peripheral nerve injuries; and replantation of severed digits.
