The Department of Ophthalmology at Sichuan Taikang Hospital is a member of the Chengdu Minimally Invasive Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery Specialist Alliance. The Department currently has 9 physicians with intermediate or senior professional titles, 3 ophthalmic technicians, and 5 permanently appointed experts from Grade-A Tertiary hospitals. All physicians on the team hold master's degrees. The Department includes outpatient clinic, inpatient ward, and vision center, and is divided into 7 subspecialties: cataract, glaucoma, fundus disease, pediatric ophthalmology, refractive surgery, traditional Chinese medicine ophthalmology, and general ophthalmology.
