Department Introduction

General Surgery Ward II (Post-Organ Transplant Management Center) at Sichuan Taikang Hospital focuses on the development of post-transplant management as its core discipline, providing high-quality, full-cycle, and individualized transplant health management services for organ transplant recipients.
The team includes four members with doctoral degrees, all holding senior professional titles. They serve as standing committee members or committee members in multiple academic societies, including the Chinese Society of Organ Transplantation of the Chinese Medical Association, the Chinese Organ Transplantation Association of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the Committee of Liver Surgeons of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the Transplantation Technology Branch of the China Medicinal Biotech Association, the Sichuan Provincial Society of Organ Transplantation of the Sichuan Medical Association, and the Sichuan Provincial Organ Transplantation Association of the Sichuan Medical Doctor Association. They have led and participated in national key research and development programs, projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Sichuan Provincial Distinguished Young Scientists Fund, key science and technology support projects of Sichuan Province, and major science and technology application demonstration projects of Chengdu. They have published over 20 SCI papers in the field of organ transplantation.
Specialized Technical Services:
The center strictly adheres to authoritative guidelines and consensus standards in the field of organ transplantation, and is committed to meeting the diagnostic and treatment needs of transplant recipients after surgery. Currently, the center operates a specialized organ transplant outpatient clinic with a comprehensive range of medications. It provides all necessary routine basic examinations and transplant immunity-related tests for follow-up care. Additionally, the center has implemented a multidisciplinary consultation and multidisciplinary inpatient management model to offer recipients comprehensive, full-cycle, and individualized high-quality diagnostic and treatment services, ensuring effective management of their post-transplant health.  
With a focus on discipline development, the center undertakes the individualized management of recipients throughout their entire life cycle, including but not limited to non-invasive diagnosis and individualized data management, providing long-term professional diagnostic and treatment techniques and high-quality follow-up services. Meanwhile, it has established a central laboratory with a total area of about 1,000 square meters. The equipment and layout are designed to meet the scientific research needs in fields such as molecular biology, microbiology, cytology, pathology, pharmacology, and animal studies. Integrating medical services, education and research, the center undertakes various levels of funded projects and is dedicated to research on the progression and prevention of diseases related to post-transplant recipients, aiming to provide safer, more efficient, and higher-quality full-cycle individualized medical management services.
