The Department focuses on cultivating intelligent surgical treatments for functional neurological diseases, while also developing minimally invasive surgical treatments for cranial and spinal tumors and cerebrovascular diseases. The ultimate goal is to build a regional center of excellence for the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system diseases. We provide minimally invasive surgical treatments for neurological diseases such as intracranial tumors, cerebral aneurysms, trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, intractable tinnitus, and intractable headaches.
Specialized Technical Services:
Cerebrovascular Disease Group: Conservative, interventional, and surgical treatments primarily for hemorrhagic and ischemic diseases;
Artificial Intelligence Group: Robot-guided, precision-targeted deep brain stimulation (DBS) electrode implantation for abnormal brain function, degeneration, and vegetative/semi-vegetative states; biopsy for brain lesions;
Peripheral Nerve Group: Minimally invasive treatments for trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm, with a focus on microvascular decompression and balloon compression. Endoscopic minimally invasive treatment for intractable spinal neuralgia and intervertebral disc herniation;
Brain Tumor Group: Microscopic and neuroendoscopic resection of tumors on the brain convexity, in deep brain regions, and at the skull base;
Intractable Epilepsy Group: Microscopic surgery with precise electrophysiological localization for resection;
Traumatic Brain Injury Group: Craniocerebral trauma-related diseases.
