Currently, over half of the staff in the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine hold a master's degree or higher in mental health. All have previously worked and studied in public Grade-A Tertiary hospitals for several to several decades. The Department director has served as the chief editor for multiple editions of national-level textbooks, received numerous national, provincial, and ministerial-level science and technology awards, and has participated in medical exchanges and collaborations in countries such as the United Kingdom, France, and Singapore.
The Department of Psychosomatic Medicine operates under a center-based responsibility system and conducts its work in a workshop format. The team shares a consistent treatment philosophy, ensuring that patients can be promptly referred to a higher-level physician if needed, regardless of the initial consulting doctor's rank, thereby guaranteeing medical quality. The Department has achieved significant results in the psychosomatic treatment of physical illnesses, sleep disorders, mood disorders, and learning and developmental problems in minors.
