The pathology team is equipped with a full set of advanced, efficient, and environmentally friendly modern pathology equipment, capable of performing routine histopathological diagnosis, liquid-based thin-layer cytology, conventional cytology, intraoperative frozen section diagnosis, immunohistochemistry, and special staining techniques. The Department has established a comprehensive full-process quality control system. From specimen reception, fixation, dehydration, embedding, sectioning, and staining to pathologist review and report issuance, strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) have been formulated for each step, with continuous internal supervision and improvement.
